[Mograph] Coverflow Effect
This tutorial shows how to create the Cover flow Effect using the Cloner object
Step 1. Add a plane object with the width 90 cm, height 135 cm and drop the plane object under the Null object
Step 2. Add the Target Camera ( Objects > Scene > Target Camera ) then choose Cameras > Scene Cameras > Camera to activate the camera object that you have made
Step 3. Select the plane object in the objects palette then choose Tags > Cinema 4D Tags > Look at Camera
Step 4. Add a Cloner object from the MoGraph module menu, ( drag and drop a Null object and a plane object that you have made under the cloner object ) then edit setting parameter like follow
Step 5. Start the animation, drag the animation bar to the right until it ends on 10s then press the Automatic Key framing button. Select the Cloner object, change the settings of the rotation (H) field to -360 degree then press the Automatic Key framing button to stop the animation
Now time to make the cover flow effect,
Step 6. Select the cloner object in the object manager then add the Step effector from the MoGraph module menu ( ( If you did not select the cloner object before adding the Step effector you will have to drag it in the "Effectors Tab" field by hand ) then edit setting parameter like follow
• Move the position of Step effector object to -170 cm (Coordinate Z)

Step 7. Select the cloner object in the object manager again then add the Delay effector from the MoGraph module menu to smooth out the result and edit setting parameter like follow

Step 8. Play the animation
Note :
The key is to vary the settings and don't use the exact ones I say, so experiment.
